Elder Law / Estate Planning Paralegal

For over 45 years, Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. has provided exceptional legal services to clients throughout New York. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Elder Law / Estate Planning Paralegal to join our expanding team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with substantial experience drafting sophisticated trust planning and handling extensive client contact.

Responsibilities

• Draft:
  • Irrevocable Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs)
  • Revocable Living Trusts
  • Supplemental Needs Trusts (SNTs)
  • Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, and Living Wills
• Communicate directly with clients regarding estate planning matters
• Assist attorneys with document preparation and case/client management including scheduling appointments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of elder law and estate planning experience
• Strong experience drafting MAPTs, revocable trusts, and SNTs
• Excellent written, verbal, and client service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HotDocs
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
